Last time Mayfield and Russellville played it was a 16-8 come-from-behind win for the Cardinals to win the district last month.

The kick is good and with 10:43 left in the first quarter, Mayfield leads Russellville 7-0.

Russellville got the ball 1st but on 1st possession, Lane Kennemore picks off a pass and 2 plays later, Tragen Bright carries it 40 yds for a score, PAT was good, 7-0 Mayfield at the 10:30 mark in the 1st qtr..

Panthers take over after a touchback, 1st and 10 from own 20.

Russellville picks up 1 on 1st down, 1 more yard on 2nd down and on 3rd and 8, incomplete pass setting up a punting situation.

Mayfield gets great field position after the punt all the way to the Panther 28 yd line.. Nice return by Kennemore.

Tyler picks up nothing on 1st down, on 2nd and 10, Bright loses 3 yrds, on 3rd and 13, Arnett hits Kennemore for 30 yds making it 1st and goal from the 1.. Next play Hernandez takes it in for a score.. PAT is good so with 7:37 to go in 1st qtr, Mayfield leads 14-0..
