Does this reaction show that he wasn't fully committed to the gig ie the loss if it doesn't put him a funk? It comes across as "hey, whatever, it didn't work out."

 

Does it speak to his passion about the job?

I thought about that at first, but it appears this is his hometown school, he may have played there, he has certainly been there a long time, not just coaching, but living in the community. To be honest, I think he didn't want to look like he was holding a grudge against a school that he has been around for a long time. Hell, he may even stay there as a teacher and his kids may stay there as students. But, I think the video is great, I bet he is a competitor and I bet he cared about the program. Just after being fired as coach, wanted to have some fun and say goodbye.

 

That's just my take.

In the grand scheme of things, it's just a job. His kids and wife are healthy and happy. After that, everything else is just icing on a cake.
