Basketball season for 2014/2015 should provide another exciting year. What should we expect from Brossart? Remember, please be constructive.

Brossart lost a lot to graduation last year so you could probably call this a rebuilding year. Good luck to the Lady Stangs this season!

Gone are Stadtmiller, Verst, Futscher, Eisenman and Young but much like the Brossart boys, they are rebuilding BUT with a solid corp led by Schultz, Shannon, and King, all who saw substantial varsity minutes last year. Nienaber, Lloyd, Boesch and Buckingham are all capable and will lend depth.

While I tend to see things through my emerald colored glasses, I don't see this group being too shabby.

Definitely a shot at the All A. With Campbell having the most talent in the district but growing into a new system and the uncertainties at Scott, I definitely see a chance for Brossart to win the district and make some noise in the region if the draw is right. Backcourt has a long way to go and a short time to get there.

I have seen Schultz and Shannon play AAU ball the past two summers. They are good inside post players. Go Lady Tangs!

Guard play with be the key for them. The bigs they have actually handle the ball pretty well, so they might help provide some relief when the guards are pressured. The guards are athletic and have a high motor, just have had to wait their turn behind the studs that just graduated and don't have a ton of varsity experience. I would not fall asleep on this group for sure. Plenty of athletes and a lot of AAU experience.
