Randy it is always a pleasure to work with you and Papa. I too want to show our appreciation of the great feedback we received from the coaches and others. I feel we have some of the best coaches in the state that want to help their kids get the recognition they deserve. I have met many of them but looking forward to meeting more this season.

I can't wait for b-ball season to start!!!!!

I would agree, I have read some blogs from other sites and regions and this is probably the most detailed one I have seen so far. Great job by the group!

Three years ago Brossart hosted the 10th Region Freshmen tournament. Mason County was heads and shoulders above the competition in that tournament and I rued the day when the rest of us would have to compete with them for the varsity 10th Region title.

While I realize that like stocks and bonds, past performance is no indication of future performance, I'm curious if the nucleus of that freshmen team is still intact, and if it is, then I think that Mason County has the "potential" to be a major regional contender.

Mason will be fine as long as they don't have to play Augusta.

I would swap Clark and Mason. Switch up Montgomery and Harrison too and maybe move Harrison to 4. Big drop off after the top six teams though.

Players: Jackson, Wilson, Henry, Crawford, King.

Great job as always. 10th will be a lot of fun this year. While I think the star power may be off a bit this year. There are a lot more teams with solid contributors and a lot of parity. I think Campbell is cream of the crop, but I also think they are going to find out just how valuable Holbrook was. Wilson should dominate the undersized 10th this year. Crawford will turn some heads and make a name for himslelf and the Polar Bears. The 2 headed beast from Scott of Schnieder and Ohmer could average 40+ per game. Harrison has a lot of good athletes. GRC will be solid and Mason always tends to put a quality team on the floor. We will see what MoCo can do with homegrown talent. Paris needs to play under control, I think the All A is theirs to lose. Brossart will surprise some folks. Shocked I did not see Hackworth mentioned at least as a layer to watch. He really didn't have chance to shine last year with the senior talent that Brossart had. Can't wait to watch some games and maybe even get chance to sit next to Mustang to gain some of his hoops wisdom as he broadcasts "live and direct from......"

I saw online where Scott is having an open practice/live scrimmage on November 18th for the parents and public. Do a lot of teams do this now?

^^yes I say most schools do it these days. Blue/White night for Bracken County is tomorrow night at 7. Basically it's an introduction to the teams and county wide peprally and the fans get treated to a scrimmage and lots of different activities. Fun way to kick off the season.

Does Scott have a big kid that transferred in?

Does Scott have a big kid that transferred in?

Believe so. I was told his main focus is baseball, but will provide front court depth.
