TAC
Good luck to the Saints. Do the other 11 kids on the team play JV only for the whole year or do they get a chance to move up as the season progresses?
Just Jim
Glad to see Maniacci playing for Thomas More. Sad not seeing McNeil listed. I really enjoyed watching him play. Also hear that McGovney has looked really good.

cougarbball4and11
I believe he is at NKU. I am told he is still taking classes at Thomas More. Not sure if he is still playing basketball.
afi100guy
Saints looked good last night in a scrimmage against JCTC. Starters were Drew Mays, Nate McGovney, Eliot Pipes, Drew Mumford and Jalen Clark. Lots of minutes for everyone as Coach Cooper was working on a lot of things. Team will play fast-paced and we should see some high scoring games.

afi100guy
McGovney had 30 or so this weekend in a TMC W. He had 27 at half (7/8 from 3). 33 total for the game and was named PAC player of the week. The Official Website Of The PAC - This week in PAC men's basketball (Jan 12) Big game on Saturday at home vs St. Vincent (#1 in PAC). That one will go a long way to determine who hosts the conference tournament.
TAC
Heard a while ago Nate McGovney was not going to play this year. I just looked at the TMC roster and did not see him listed. He averaged 10 PPG as a frosh and almost 15 PPG as a soph. Huge loss for the Saints if he is not playing this year.

Notice Maniacci is not on the roster either. Combined with what TMU graduated, they’ve had a lot of roster churn, first part of the season may be tough.
