I think Boyd will be in the hole after making the trip to Highlands, NO one at the game means no gate money and the buses will cost more than the effort will be worth it. But I am glad that Boyd is making strides.

 

The KHSAA has rules in place for handling travel team expenses. They can either split the gate 50/50 or make sure the traveling team covers its expenses.

Oh I know the rules I am just stating losing 60 plus to 0 and breaking even, where is the joy in that. I am a proponent of the class system but that is a tough trip to get up for if you know you have to travel 3 hours to get your but whooped and 3 hours back afterwards.

Highlands by a poop ton, however, I am glad that BC made it to the playoffs and they should take in the opportunity to play at and against a great program. I hope both teams come out injury free and have a good game. Goodluck to both.

And you would be surprised how hard that is. With most probably a running clock, JV starters come in and say has a couple sustained drives. Boyd's two possessions and game over. There will be plenty of kids that don't get in. I say, highlands gets up 21 and then let JV and others play. Plenty of time then. But wow, the headline tomorrow by UKFan would be, "little birdies could only score 28 against Boyd. Can't wait for next year. And our Frosh held the little birdies scoreless last year" lol! Wait for it! A no win situation in 1st round games like these.
