I disagree. This year's Pikeville team is good. I know Pikeville runs a pistol formation offense and doesn't run the ball 80 times a game but they have a very good team this year. Not to mention that we have to travel there.

I didn't say Ironton was better, I said I can't imagine anyone in the playoffs being better than Ironton. Pikeville, Williamsburg or anyone we may face from the West. Now, they will all play differently but can't be any better.

I was listing the three football dominate schools in NEKY versus Ironton. That's all, don't get you Depends in a wad.

I thought the Tank would have been packed for this game, I saw a picture during the game and it didn't look like there was 100 Rams fans there, unless they were setting on the home side

 

The game will be aired several times this week on the Ironton Tribune’s website, and locally on Time Warner channel 25, and Armstrong Cable channels 4 and 100.

I talked to some that due to the rain they were sitting on the Ironton side due to the rain. With both teams in orange and black no one knew ....that is until they said they started cheering for Raceland .

ATTN BGP Rams / Fans - While typing my last post and mentioning Fans on the Ironton bleachers I thought that I might have some fun with............

 

"Who's that Rams Fan" :I had thought that I recognized a voice come across on the radio broadcast a few times during the Ironton game . That fan was who I thought it was....A former Ram star in football / track in the 60's, good friend of mine and everyone in Raceland, has seen probably every Rams game played except for the few years right after his graduation - that Uncle Sam sent him to Viet Nam on his senior trip. A man that imo Belongs in the Rams football HOF, has probably coached just about every Raceland football, baseball and some basketball payer that has, in their youth, went through Raceland for years and years ......I Know All the RAM Fans on a BGP and way beyond know this man, he isn't a bgp member and for years and years just about all that went to school at Raceland played sandlot football on a make shift field that was close to his home and behind an elementary school. Ram, TCA, RAM FAN and others here should know this one right away.

I have made a game of it now men...Who is that old Rambler (and it's not me - that was another hint) .....how bout it men ?? I have practically named him, gave away far too much. Again - this guy is Not on BGP so it's not a violation too name him.

I was actually coached by Kenny way back in JFL. Second and third grade Kenny was a great coach and is a very old school fella. I love his pride for the Rams. Great guy, coach, papaw, and father.
