Due to changes in field availability, this game will be played at Campbell County even though Holy Cross technically will be considered the home team.

The Holy Cross stats team will provide live stats, box score, and play-by-play updates (unfortunately, not free anymore since a game subscription to the NFHS Network is required - don't shoot the messenger because I'm not crazy about it either). The latest box score/game summary with links to stats will appear in the middle of the page on the day of the game. If you don't care about LIVE, you can still go to the following page to get score updates. Full stats, box score, and play-by-play will be provided free after the game has been completed (available in the post game thread).

Finally, if you just want updates automatically sent to you during the game, we have also tied this website to our Holy Cross football Twitter account. For those that follow us, we will automatically send out tweets on all scoring plays, at the end of each quarter, and at the end of the game.

How is there a problem with field availability if it was a scheduled home game for HC?

Holy Cross does not have a home field of their own. This game was originally scheduled for Thursday night at Scott. Scott then became unavailable. Holmes was not available on Thursday. Both Scott and Holmes are playing at home on Friday. Campbell County did not want to play on Saturday.

If Holy Cross wants any chance of winning vs Walton Verona they need this game get to the running clock as quick as possible and get what few players they have out of the game. Their two way starters took a pounding versus NCC and this could be much worse. Camels have enough depth to methodically pound HC but they might be wise to pull everyone as soon as they can also.

I thought their home field is next to their soccer field in Latonia/Covington. No?

That field has no lights and not nearly enough seating to host a varsity football game.

This game will not be fun to watch from either side. For various reasons both will be wondering why this game is even being played. Camels by as much as they want.

Its just for practice, freshman and maybe jv.

Holy Cross has a lot of injuries. But if they stop #23 they have a chance.

So does HC traditionally play all their home games at Scott or Holmes?
