So much time? It takes 5 seconds to post here.

Think collective, not your 1 or 2 posts.

Almost every single new Android commercial takes shots at the Iphone. Why is that? I would think that if LG comes out with a new phone their real competition is Samsung or HTC, not Apple. So why aren't they spending time and money showing what their latest and greatest is better than the Note or M8 or whatever. Same with Android users.

The fact that the Android platform has multiple manufacturers competing for sales has created a better product. Apple is stuck two steps behind because there is no one pushing them to make better phones at a faster rate...

Absolutely. Apple got complacent and I think it's hurt them over the last few years. I know they are still successful and have great numbers but to be honest I think that added to the problem. As long as you have the best selling phone on the market you think no need to change then you look up and your maybe not the best thing around anymore. It would be interesting to see how, if at all, different the iphone would be today if Jobs hadn't gotten sick.

For Android manufacturers?

I had to re-read his post to be sure but he also said users. As for manufacturers, that's part of it.

But if you think iPhone isn't making commercials directed at android you aren't watching their commercials.

When bigger android screens were getting popular Apple came out with their stupid commercial about how their phone was the perfect size for your hand...guess it wasn't...since they have increased the size two or three times since then. :lol2:

And you think collectively Apple fans aren't doing the same? Cmon...

Because the other android phones, while better competition tech wise, aren't as big of a competitor as Apple in the cell phone market. There's no denying Apple sells alot of phones. That mean they sell the best phone. They just package it nice and make it easy to use. It should be ready...they haven't changed much inn years.

Agreed except I'd say they are more than two steps behind. :D

I think there no matter what the topic, you will always have fanboys on all sides. But as it stands today, Android fanboys come off as having extreme little man syndrome.

And Apple fanboys come off as smug and naive.

I've owned both.

I had several Iphones before I made the switch. Last 2 phones have been the original note and I'm currently carrying the note 3.

I prefer the Android mainly due to screen and camera quality. They just seem so far ahead of apple in those categories.

Also not having to deal with Itunes is wonderful.

I'm still halfway mad this phone is so big. I like it and hate it at the same time. :lol2:

I prefer smug and content.

If it ain't broke...just make it bigger.:idunno:

At the end of the day everyone is different. I want a phone I am familiar with, I want iTunes, I don't want to read a manual and watch YouTube videos to figure out all the bells and whistles on my phone. I don't buy phones for their camera either. I want my phone to have LTE, I want my phone to surf the internet quickly and I want my music and apps on my phone. I don't even want anyone to call me on my phone. Text me or it better be emergency and leave a voicemail because I ain't answering.

It's just funny to me that the iPhone is consistently one of the top selling smartphone every year yet Droid users love to trash the iPhone and their users. That's how I always see it play out. We love our phones and you love to make fun of us loving our phones. Droids are better than iPhones. *golf clap* Apple laughs all the way to the bank.

I do find it funny how passionate people are about this stuff.

A guy at work still has a flip phone. It's hilarious. Doesn't matter to me though, I don't have to use it.
