Ryle had 5 turnovers.

Tried to tell you going into the season that the Dixie defense was tough.

The England kid looked really good. I read here before the game that he would run over defenders. I saw some of that, but what stood out to me most was his quick, nifty feet. He was really impressive in tight spaces to evade tacklers. I hope he recovers in time before the playoffs.

Also, I'm surprised that Ryle did not have a better turnout from their fans. Lots of empty seats on their side for such a big, home game... and it was Senior night.

How has Ryle turned it around??? What I watched, they look balanced enough and so much better than just 4 weeks ago. Testament to the coaches and the players.

I was thinking the same thing. The Raiders have come a long way since the earlier part of the season.

7 rushes 60 yards 1 td and 4 catches 41 yards 1 td.

No show in second half?

Forced turnovers.

Int's were just horrible throws to no one by Ryle

Injured.

Oh yea. I forgot. Interceptions are always the QB's fault.

News on the injury front is that England tore groin muscle. Not that is was tightening up. May be done for season. My source is reliable. Any one else hear of this?

He doesn't even go to the doctor till Monday. So I would have to say that without the utlrasound being done there is no way to tell that, so that is not true. He's up walking around with no swelling and no bruising or blood in the area. Nobody knows till Monday. but I don't think it's that bad.

Encouraging news! Hope everything turns out positive for him.

Looks like its going to be:

Tates Creek at Dixie Heights

Ryle at George Rogers Clark

Campbell County at Lafayette

Madison Central at Simon Kenton

It would not surprise me to see a NKY sweep in the first round of the playoffs. Granted I do not know a lot about Lafayette, I do know that the other 3 teams could and should win those games. For Ryle a lot of if they win is going to depend on the health of England and if he is able to run the ball as effective as he has.
