Hmmmm, no jawing during the Newport/HC game. Yet lots of jawing last night durring NCC/HC. Makes you wonder who really does the trash talking. It was definitely all Newport when them and NCC played, however.

Give it a rest!!!!!

Every team has players who "talk trash". I don't have a problem with it, as long as it is within reason. However, there is a point when it becomes "over the top" and the officials need to step in.

I can't think of any previous seasons where we are this far into the season and we have no clue how good NCC is.

BW will give us a really good indication.

So we agree if you have a D1 body all you need to do is put in the work and let the chips fall where they may. The big jump in production normally happens from the sophomore to junior year. That's one of the reasons big schools don't wanna see players until after there sophomore year. Now I know for fact that the HC's #3 was invited to a rising freshmen all star game in Miami and dominated the competition. Most of the kids came from the rich SEC recruiting areas.

I think his future in college will not be as a RB. Not a knock but not fast or elusive enough. Maybe fullback but no one uses one any more. Maybe TE or maybe a switch to defense. Depends on how much bigger he gets. Good athlete and they will find a position for him. HC line against anything team 2A and above does him no favors.

Maybe now, people will believe me when I said there was a little animosity between these teams as I explained in a different thread.

Maybe, but maybe not. I'm sure both teams will play to win but not sure either will show everything. Add in next Friday night is allegedly going to be brutal weather-wise and who knows.

I agree, win or lose, we will know something.

I have seen a lot worse in other games. In fact, this one would have been about an average 50 on a scale of 100. Much ado about nothing.

You're right . Like LB 13 said, give it a rest, so I shall.

I asked this yesterday in the prediction thread and got no answer. Can someone tell me if Holy Cross has an offensive lineman that is getting some D1 looks?

Justin Gangwish is rumored to be getting some looks from quite a few D1-AA schools and a couple small D1 schools. He is 6'5" and 270lbs and runs very well. You can't teach size and I think that's why he may be getting those looks. The team has obviously struggled so I think that may hurt him amongst other things. I guess we will see but that is the rumor I've heard.

I agree. I think in that previous post I was trying to say the equivalent of it sometimes "takes 2 to tango".
