October 22, 201412 yr Then this entire league is mediocre. That is my point. If the Ravens are bad, then everyone but about 3 teams is bad. That is silly. If the Ravens are mediocre, than you're putting the bar pretty high. Every year should be graded on a curve, and the Ravens are most assuredly in the top 3rd of the league right now. I don't get people who think every one is bad (with the exception of a couple of teams), yet continue to watch. The league has changed, the rules are different, but everyone is playing by the same set of them. If people just want to bemoan this and that, and constantly complain about the league, the rules, the flags, etc., just quit watching.
October 23, 201412 yr As a Jags fan, if the Ravens are bad, I want my Jags to be that bad. It is a matter of perspective, isn't it?
October 23, 201412 yr It is a matter of perspective, isn't it? Heck if my Jags win the same amount of wins this season that the Ravens currently have I'll be excited.
October 23, 201412 yr Author I don't want to get ahead of myself but I am excited to see the Jags in person next week. I like them too. That's what I get for spending a couple of weeks in Jacksonville back in the day.

That's what I get for spending a couple of weeks in Jacksonville back in the day. Young. That's what I'm banking on. 13 of their starts are either rookie or 2nd year players. Nobody would take this seriously but Gus Bradley who came from Seattle is trying to replicate what Pete Carroll did. Building through the draft is a very slow process but they are slowly changing. I'm very excited for the game next week. Got bottom row seating. Gotta see my boy Bortles up close.
October 23, 201412 yr I know of very few football teams in the world that can beat Baltimore, so no, they're not bad.
