WC has experience. And not just one game experience, this team is basically the same team tha lost to SL in the finals last season. That will be the difference IMO. WC doesn't play like any different just because its Rupp.

 

Mason has a lot of inexperience. Even though Miller did see time the last time these two met in the state tourny, its not going to be enough. Mason is a young team. They might be the one of the hottest teams going into the tourny and that could help. But I expect a slow start by the royals.

It could be a close game, Warren Central by 5.

I don't like picking against the Royals, but I see them as a little bit young to advance vs. Warren Central. The only person on the team that played in the '04 tourney is Darius Miller, and his playing time was very limited as an 8th grader.

I guess Chris Lofton, Grutza, Whitney, Dewalt, and Maresca aren't going to walk through that door.... But I bet it'd still be a heck of a game even today.
