Basketball season for 2014/2015 should provide another exciting year. What should we expect from Dixie Heights Remember, please be constructive.

Coach Ken Chevalier will return a very good team. They will be tough to beat and have some good size.

Coach Chevy and his team will be solid this season. Best of luck to them.

It is my understanding that these kids will not be playing:

2 HENRY KERNS 12 6'2 F

4 Brian Strong 12 5'10 G

11 ETHAN LLOYD 11 5'6 G

There may be others as well... I do not know why.

It is also my understanding that this will be the core 8 players:

3 AUSTIN SCHRECK 12 6'2 G

5 LIAM RABE 12 5'11 G

10 HUNTER MEYER 10 6'2 G (more like 5'11, maybe 6')

14 MATT ISBEL 12 6'3 F

23 MITCHELL BOLIN 12 6'7 C (is a legit 6'8 now)

30 DREW MOORE 12 6'3 F

32 ANDREW HEDGER 12 6'5 F

35 NICK NIEHAUS 12 6'3 F

It is my understanding that these kids will not be playing:

2 HENRY KERNS 12 6'2 F

4 Brian Strong 12 5'10 G

11 ETHAN LLOYD 11 5'6 G

There may be others as well... I do not know why.

Kerns is concentrating on baseball. Strong is not playing either. Not sure on Lloyd.

One of the most improved teams from the start of the year to the end of the year last season. Could be a tough out in postseason this year too.

Is Niehaus a definite?

He has been to all workouts and practices. I see no reason for that to change at this point.

My fault. Confusing him with Hedger.
