October 6, 201411 yr Just so we're keeping score at home... Louisville dropped 24 spots when they lost by two points on the road to Virginia' date=' who is now 4-2 and 2-0.[/quote'] Who has Virginia played other than louisville? Honest question, I'm curious who their losses are?

October 6, 201411 yr ND quietly moving their way up the polls. I love when ND is relevant. FWIW. Even as a life-long ND fan I do not think there are only 5 better teams in the country.
October 6, 201411 yr Even as a life-long ND fan I do not think there are only 5 better teams in the country. I had a good friend go to ND so I became a closet ND fan, and went to catholic schools my whole life so I guess that factors in too. Anyways, I'm excited to see what they can do against FSU. NC isn't a write off, but seeing them in Tallahassee will be cool.
October 6, 201411 yr They lost to #7 UCLA 28-20 and #21 BYU 41-33. Sounds like they could make a good case for being ranked then. Yet a team they beat received 35 more voted than them.

October 6, 201411 yr Obviously not, but they played as even as two teams can. It wasn't a win but could have went either way, if you can't give them credit for that at the swamp, I imagine you would find a reason to discredit them for anything thing that do that is obviously an improvement over prior years. I did give them credit for playing well in that game. I also said that had they played somebody other than UT-Martin they probably would have been toughened up enough to win at Florida and snap the skid.

I don't believe toughness had anything to do with it, it was a tripple ot game, either team coukd have / should have won it.

UK was clearly the better team. They got scared of the jersey they were facing, and the locale they were playing in. A halfways challenging road game early means they win that game handily.

If I remember correctly Kentucky had the lead near the end of regulation, UF scored after a controversial non call as the play clock expired.. How does that break down to UK being scared of the jersey or the swamp?
October 6, 201411 yr The rankings are just not as big a deal for me with the new system. With 4 teams in the playoff and having to win 2 games to be champ, I am fine with whoever gets to the final four. At the end of the process there will be a clear champion.

How does that break down to UK being scared of the jersey or the swamp? What difference does it make how the sequence of events went down? UK lost to Florida for the 28th straight time. Doesn't matter if it was 6 points or 100. It was a game UK should have won, and you agree with that point just like everybody else in BBN does.

The difference is that you said UK lost because of the jersey they were playing and the location of the game.. Tripple overtime says that wasn't the case at all.. You said it, not I.
