Great win for the Cats, but if they can go to Death Valley and pull out a victory that would nudge them over this proverbial hump. Should be noted that a victory like that would be earlier in the maturation process of the Stoops regime than most would expect. The excitement around the program is great though!

Pretty sure I saw that UL's is actually ahead of UK in SOS thus far.

"Thus" means a lot when you consider its early in the season, things will change and change quickly for both teams, I know prior to the season UK's schedule was one of the ten toughest in the country. I guess with whatever ranking system you are using it changes weekly. Both are getting into the meat of their schedule from here on out though.

I believe they are already over the proverbial hump. 2 sec wins in a row, which I can't remember the last time that happened, resulted in three 4* commitments overnight. If that's not turning the corner I don't know what is.

Trying to get Jim to say anything positive about UK is like :deadhorse: It's not worth the effort for the mere pittance that he will give up.

It's not my fault if you guys misinterpret my compliments as insults. That just means you're reading too deeply into it.

You do remember that USC beat Georgia convincingly, yet Georgia killed Clemson. Comparing games in that sense doesn't usually mean anything.

I already explained the Georgia-Clemson-SC-A&M sequence somewhere. Go look it up.

At least you can acknowledge that they have made progress. But how many rungs do they have to climb before you quit ragging on their accomplishments?

As I noted, they've climbed two rungs. Winning at LSU is the next one. It takes more than a home win over a suspect South Carolina team to change national attitudes about one of the SEC's traditional doormats.

Don't need to, I can imagine the jist of it.

You didn't answer the question. The question was how many rungs do they have to climb to get you to quit ragging on them.

Right, they have turned the corner. But, I am referring to their stance in the conference. A road win would send a message to the SEC.

Honest criticism is not "ragging," but anyway. Just because you don't care for the source doesn't make it less relevant.

No need to send a message to the SEC, if they haven't figured it out yet, just let it hit em in the face.

That's true.. However you still didn't answer the original question.

One rung at a time, baby. Death Valley's the next one. We'll talk more after that one. You guys should pray it's not a night game.

Lol..we still don't know how many rungs you expect before you give respect. Since I have asked several times after you brought it up, ill just assume it is an infinite number.

What difference does it make? You guys will know when you get there and you're playing in a bowl that's not in Nashville.
