Fro didn't blow it dead. The line judge on the CCH side did. He ran in spotting it at the forward progress spot. Fro dropped his head in a "what are you doing?" manner.

 

I know he did. Fro actually threw the bag where the fumble occurred but why didn't he overturn the call? I realize he couldn't give CovCath the TD but couldn't he have given CovCath the ball at the spot of the fumble?

Don't think CCH will want Beechwood for homecoming again.

Once the whistle is blown the play is dead. When the whistle was blown no one had the ball so it's dead at the spot.
