Crider gives the Mustang defense an opportunity to show they can shut down a quality running game.

Considering Mayfield did that already (26 carries/93 yards)...the Mustangs should be able to put together some stops. I see this one getting out of hand.

Ill go 49-14..Stangs

The Mayfield vs Fulton City game might be more competitive.

McCracken won 63-30 last year when Graves had a good team so could get real ugly early. Graves doesn't have anyone that keep up with Jones or Hughes.

I get your point that it will be a blowout but doubt the Mayfield game will be competitive...if the starters were to stay in the whole game it would be ugly down in Fulton City

We'll see if the QB change can help Graves County become a little more balanced. I'd be surprised if McCracken holds them to two TD's, figuring Crider will break two himself and the amount of turnovers McCracken has allowed. They will continue to give up points until they cut down on the turnovers. The defense can be strong but they spend enough time on the field due to the quick scores by the offense. McCracken's passing game should allow them to score enough to break this one open. The Mustangs have a few tweaked players they need to get healthy before district play, so if they can come out strong I look to see subs at some key positions. I'll go with the Mustangs 59-28.

Big stage for the new QB at Graves...that can be an intimidating place to play, even for a seasoned QB

Fair points, but I look for the Mustang defense to finally play a full 4 quarters this week.

McCracken 63

Graves 14

Hope you are correct, I'd like to see lower totals for the ops. BTW, I'm not down on the defense except when they start hand slapping instead of trying to make a tackle. I think the secondary is one of the best pass defense I have seen. If QB's make a mistake it will get picked. I'll agree on the 14 if you can promise me no turnovers:D

I feel the same way. The secondary with R. Jones, Womack, and the others is awesome. I've seen just what you've seen. The failure to wrap up on tackles. Tyce Daniel can be a monster when all is said and done. Eads and several others contribute well.
