We are in Athens Ohio babysitting grandchildren and could not make the game nor listen to the broadcasts.

 

Surfice it to say that the game did not live up to the hype after the 1st quarter. Sounds like the Colonels need some work or Highlands wanted to beat them worse than Moeller did. Who knows.

 

Hopefully there will be a rematch in FT Thomas during the playoffs. We will be able to make that game.

You could be right, but how do you not get prepared for your annual rival?

 

Mentsch mentioned it at the game and he may say something about it in the post game thread but his observation was they may have overhyped the wrong things. New uniform pants, going with new uniform socks (red piping down the back) and all that jazz. Receivers with two different color gloves for show.

CCH is down two touchdowns before the game even starts. The comments today in the paper by Pitzer where he said there are a lot of players who hope they can win this game were spot on. Not a good way to go into a big game.
