September 30, 201411 yr Watching some of my kids' T-ball games made me cry. (Cry in the sense of going crazy with boredom.....yours truly was perhaps not the best parent around.) How could you not like a game with 12 outfielders and 10 infielders all playing at the same time?:thumb:
September 30, 201411 yr I know it doesn't count, but definitely cried on the night of my last basketball game. I dropped to the floor and bawled right there. I recall that a teammate came off the bench to pick me up as my dad walked out from the stands and then gave me a hug and told me how proud of me he was. Many years have passed, but it is still the most emotional I've ever been at any sporting event to this day. I still tear up thinking of that moment. The closest thing to tears of joy had to be beating a rival senior year of high school. I imagine others feel the same on this board. That ecstasy of knowing that you worked since you started playing for something.... that moment that you came through and came out on top in a moment that you know you is going to stick with you forever and that no one is ever going to be able to take that away from you, and you will remember it forever. Feels like you can fly. I'm not really a joyful crier, but it's just that high you get that isn't often duplicated...
October 1, 201411 yr Never when I played. But I cried when my oldest played his last game in the regional tournament, scored 34 but lost. The hug after the game was one of the best moments of my life, can't really explain why. Very similar experience for me also. In districts and finally recovered from ACL, he had 27 and tried to will his team to victory but came up just short.
