Paris 49 Harrison Co. 42

Featured Replies

Mac Whitaker got a costly T with 26 secs that may have cost his Phillies the game.

Sounds like Mac was in true form, I don't know how people put up with his style!!

Paris made the plays down the stretch; Harrison missed a bunch of free throws towards the end of the game.

Harrison's coach was begging to get teed up for most of the 4th quarter. I think he would have gone for the ejection but Paris missed both technical free throws which kept Harrison in the game for a while longer.

and now for the "rest of the story"...

Yes Mac got Teed up, but here's what happened:

1. Harrison down three with the ball, less than a minute to play.

2. very questionable illegal screen called against HC while Faulkner had the ball out front, she was gonna be wide open for a possible tieing 3.

3. Player control foul, Paris to inbound the ball

4. Mac earns his T.

5. Paris misses both FTs.

6. Paris called for a foul prior to inbounding the ball after the technical.

7. HC misses both free throws, could have pulled to within 1.

The point?

The technical called on Whitaker had no impact whotsoever on the final outcome.

Paris made plays at crucial times, HC did not. Paris WON the game more so than HC LOST it.

Good luck to the Lady Hounds on Monday.

I knew this game would be a war. I should have went to the Fieldhouse instead of Morehead :D

Congrats to the Lady Hounds, what a tough draw for the Fillies...

hchs You and I both know that people just want to blame this on Mac...

Yeah Mac can do no wrong in Harrison's eyes. At least he can go to baseball now......

What has he done wrong in your eyes?

Why would you even argue to the point of getting a T with less than a minute to go and your team down three? Just curious, I've never heard anyone take that approach to winning a game.

Soda,

Were you at the game? High intensity game from beginning to end. Pivotal call that could determine the outcome of the game that goes against you. Obviously, Mac is a little high strung to begin with.

Regardless as to whether or not the call went in his favor, the technical foul was entirely a wash...no damage done as both free throws were missed.

Hey i have no dog in this fight i could care less if its his fault or not,But your team down 3 with 25 secs left and you get T up hows that not put your team in more jeopardy of loosing.Three points with a little under 30 secs left is only 1 poession,Im not saying he shouldnt have got the T cause the call was very Questionable.:thumb:

Your right it was a wash since they missed the free throws its just the point IF she hits those and they have the ball your then down 2 poession maybe three if they score,Thats it.
