I don't recall the ref being an issue either way in the game.

I thought the ref did a good job last night. Thought it was fairly evenly called.

Overheard him talking to the boys on both sides throughout the game. Giving them lots of "warnings" for lack of a better unofficial sounding term. A few times I heard the "play on" with a tone of...

Well...

As if to say "Get up you big faker! Drama class is tomorrow." Even overheard the 3 refs chatting at half with some comments of a similar nature.

 

A few times I thought for sure a yellow was coming out, based on the limited # of games I've seen this season.

Yet another game the refs seemed to have done ok on. With all the doom and gloom conversation lately I would have expected different.

I think a lot of those comments come from the teams receiving the multiple red cards but maybe not. I'm not shy about saying the refs were not good when I feel that's the case but that crew did a good job.

Same center that was on the Boone Scott game! Sounds like he did a good job

CovCath won't win the region this year either. Can someone list the last 10 or so regional titles by year and team? Covcath does great controlling the ball but you need to win the game.

Glad you are so confident. I guess we'll see. I don't know the last 10 winners because there have been some regional realignments over the last few years so some teams are in different regions now than they were say five years ago. The Colonels have been in a bit of a drought but from 2003-2013 they won 4 regional titles.

I do not have a clue... but I am very confident that both Highlands and NCC will represent their district in the Regionals this year... and probably for the foreseeable future. :ylsuper:
