I would say the top three teams in the area are:

1. Johnson Central

2. Ashland

3. Raceland

 

And, as we seen Ashland and Raceland are close, I'm not sure about where Johnson Central falls yet.

 

But, after those three, there is a drop.

Just checking back in.....Rams playing well, as expected. This one could very well get to a running clock Early unless coach Salmons tones it way down, not just in substituting (he does that liberally( but in style of play, etc.. Would be nice to get some kids in without this crazy running clock rule at only 35 pt.s. Kids work their tails off all spring / summer only to have playing time cut bc they are successful. Most coaches do not deliberately run the score up. Want to tone it down? .... then have a set margin that a coach is Required to sub if at all possible and don't take playing time away from a kid that loves to play and may not be a starter.

Agreed, Lawrence has a good team, they be below the top three, but not my much. I expect JC may be the best, but we won't know until the end of the season most likely. They always seem to play a soft out of district schedule.

Stay up there. It looks like Raceland is substituting a few non-starters at a time to get some experience. Slowing the game down some.

Raceland has slowed it down a lot and is working on some things. One score in the 3rd quarter. No scoring in the early 4th yet.
