I don't think it's doubt at all, it's just simply cautious confidence in the offense. It's only because basically the entire offense is unproven is all.

 

Not that people really doubt what the players can do it's simply because outside of Torey, the entire skill position set is brand new.

 

Defense I think is much better because of the line and I love the at of the Kellers at LB, they are a blast to watch.

For what it's worth HB, I feel as if this team has some serious potential to hurt some feelings on the 5A east side of the bracket come playoff time.

Billie Pricket really worked hard this year. He shown in the NCC game he can be really accurate and has good presence in the pocket. One thing he doesn't have that both Ludwog and Tyler Morris had was the velocity on his passes but he makes up for that with nice touch.

Didn't say anything about "scoring consistently" it only takes a point to win. Just simply stated that there are weapons there in the likes of Diaw, Douglas, Bacigalupo, and Bishop.

 

Douglas had 2 TDs last week, Diaw 1 (with one called back), and Bishop had a couple very good grabs. Bishop has a lot of growing but is already a talent in the dark.

 

Point being, they aren't completely dependent like they were last year on Floyd and Marshall. Options are available.

 

You are helping make my point. If you can shut down the QB he can't throw the ball correct? So that limits the touches that any of his receivers have. The RB #20? is very talented and is their feature back. I am not taking anything away from the other players, but you can't focus on all 11 and shut them all down. You have to plan on taking those two away and making those other players beat you. If they do so, then at the end of the day you have to tip your hat.

 

I never said those two are good and everyone else is bad, but those 2, like clyde said, make that offense go. Limit those two, and you have a good shot to win the game.
