How close is this to the Football stadium?

 

Think of catching all three games there on Saturday.

Basically, right next door to Nippert Stadium - 2 blocks away. If I were wanting to see excellent games all day on the 30th, here is what I would do:

 

1:00 pm Covington Catholic vs Dixie Heights at Covington Catholic

 

3:00 pm Cincinnati St. Xavier vs. East St. Louis at St. X

 

Following that game, head to Sheakley and perhaps catch the end of Anderson vs. Northwest that starts at 5:00 pm.

 

Then, the 8:00 pm Beechwood vs. Mt. Healthy game to close the evening.

 

Hopefully you can buy one ticket and get in to all games since they are all part of the event.

 

These games are all about a 15-20 minute drive away from each other.

Just a reminder, it's best to go ahead and pay to park on campus in a UC lot. Or on the street. If you park on any other lots your may very well be towed. If you park in the gravel lot at the corner of Calhoun and Scioto it will happen Some were not too happy when they came back last year and their car was gone,

Nippert is closed for remodeling.

I looked up the address for the Athletic Center and in only has champions way, with no number.

 

The Garmin can not find a Champions Way in Cincy.

 

I got the address for the university of Cincy on their website and it has Clifton avenue, which I used the last time I was there.

 

My question is how easy is it to get to the Athletic Center going this way.

Go to the east side of Nippert and walk south toward the soccer stadium. At. The street before you get to the soccer, turn east and go past the baseball, and Football is right there.

Anderson Redskins my ole school....they have turned into a pretty good football school

NCF, If you haven't arrived there yet. If you come from Columbus on 71, take the Taft Road exit. Go right onto Taft. Go to the 5th stop light and take a right (at the CVS). The next stop light take a left onto campus, the parking lot is on the right, and the field is on your left.

 

But, if you did make it to NKY today. Go north onto 71. Go through the tunnel, staying in the left lane. Take the Reading Road exit. Stay on the left side as there is a fork on that exit. Go Up Reading. At the 3rd stop light after you exit 71, stay in the left lane. You will see an overpass, at the light under the overpass you veer towards the left at that fork. At the next light take a left onto Taft. At the 3rd light on Taft take a right (at the CVS). The next stop light take a left onto campus, the parking lot is on the right, and the field is on your left.

 

I will email you my number. When I am in town, on the weekends I work one block from that stadium. Maybe I'll come by and say hi!

GPS got me right there in front of the parking garage.
