Cov Cath's Sam Murrer has D1 offers from UC, WKU, Miami (OH) and Ohio University. All four are D1 FBS programs.

What year did Mainello graduate high school? I thought it was 09 if I am thinking of the right person.

I thought I saw on here that Sheehan transferred to Georgetown. Could have been someone else I read that about and I am just confusing the names.

 

But if we are adding FCS, does Bradley Way from CCH still play at Wofford? He was an on and off starter on the O line there last year as a freshman I believe.

Not very fast but relentless, very good motor on film and didn't miss a tackle. Don't remember his name. Wondering if anyone has noticed him? He was mentioned in the best linebacker posts.

I'm betting it's down to UC and Miami OH. Miami OH gives him a better chance to almost play immediately at that size. When I talked with him, he really like everything about Miami OH. Coming from CCH, that Ivy League setting in Oxford makes him feel right at home.

Yes, Mainello graduated in '09, but I believe he gray shirted. It looks like you're correct about Sheehan transferring to Georgetown also.

 

As for FCS....if you add those schools to the list, then that's a whole new can of worms. By and large, when people talk about "D1" schools, they mean D1 by the old terminology, intending only the schools that are FBS status these days.
