Somewhat new to NKY. Is there a website that lists the breakdown of which schools are in which division and who their conference teams are? Thanks in advance!

There are classes in Football. Classes ( 6 of them) are divided into Regions and then Districts. This is the final year before some teams change classes and districts. 6A is largest, 1A is smallest

NKY has teams in 6A, 5A, 4A, 2A and 1A. Recently Beechwood always wins 1A district, NewCath wins 2A, Highlands wins 4A, 5A and 6A are more competitive.

You are correct. Their isn't a NKAC

All he did was list all the NKY schools and what class they are in to help teamfirst out.

There is an NKAC (Northern Kentucky Athletic Conference) to which schools belong to even for football even though there is no conference for football if that makes any sense.

 

Remember when Brossart was considering not playing their District schedule this year and being an Independent. The NKAC said that was a bad idea.

And yes not all the schools listed above belong to the NKAC.

The schools themselves are members of the NKAC. So while there is not any kind of conference competition for football because obviously with district obligations and only 10 games it would be impossible for schools to play each other the schools themselves still belong to the NKAC. On the Brossart part it was mentioned that if they decided not to play a district schedule this year (and thereby cause a financial hardship on other teams) there could be ramifications like probation from the NKAC.
