September 6, 201610 yr This type of behavior is very common in our society. And most offenders are "nice guys." Most all nice guys have sicknesses. And as numerous as these stories are, most offenders are never found out.So, it's even more common than what arrest records suggest. It's time we quit being surprised. Preachers, teachers, coaches,doctors, sports site readers .... We are a dirty, vulgar, porn-obsessed society. The porn feeds the sickness. Who will be the subject of the next arrest that will prompt our "surprise"? I'm never surprised. It could be your church's pastor, your next door neighbor, your child's teacher, or your favorite internet board poster. Well, that leave you off the hook in this category. Haha. Just ribbing you SF...you set it up, I just couldn't resist.:lol2:

September 6, 201610 yr I don't know Mr Anderson like some of you do. He may a very bad guy or he may be a nice man with a very bad compulsion. All I'm saying is that he sure as hell isn't alone in that regard.

BUT, I think you went waaaaaay overboard on the things you listed that most even "nice guys" deal with. There are a TON of other not so frightening/disgusting "demons" so called "nice guys" struggle with. Maybe some drink just a tad too much. Maybe some are horrible with money/budgeting. Maybe some are terrible communicators with their spouse. Maybe some are workaholics and spend far too little time with their families. These are just a few examples. All of these in their own way can have detrimental affects on one's family without being gravely perverse or violent. I'd say my examples are far far more common/prevalent, and child molesters/rapists/abusers are the great minority.

Maybe so, but I'd say MOST guys have sexual perversions of some sort lurking somewhere within the depths of their being. I wonder if Chris Hansen agrees? Some may never act on it out of fear and obviously many do, but it's probably there in most everyone . My guess is , Mr Anderson acted on his. I don't think you necessarily have to be a Jeffrey Dahmer . You could be a nice Coach Anderson and still be sick with perverse tendencies.
