Corbin 34 Middlesboro 12 Scrimmage

Featured Replies

Corbin was up 14-12 at half.

Nice showing for Corbin. Weren't a lot of people expecting them to be down this year?

Lol

I thought people expected them to win all 6 classes

I thought that Corbin looked very slow and not very good on offense. They have a long ways to go. JMO

Yea according to their faithful they should go undefeated!!! They underestimate how good a coach Steve Jewell was!

Things must really be tough in Middlesboro. If Corbin was very slow and not good on offense, the preseason number five team in class 2A is in for a long season.

He was a very good football coach.

Depends on who you ask, but most people have them as a top 10 team.

Middlesboro should go 8-2 or 7-3 and finish first or second in their district, which includes Somerset, Danville and LCA. The game was pretty even, Middlesboro just needs to clean up some areas and stay healthy as they didn't appear to have much depth.

Corbin won't go undefeated, may very well lose their first 2 games against Pulaski Co. and SW Pulaski.
