September 14, 201412 yr Totally dig the Bluegrass elements that run throughout this intense Denver based Christian band Sixteen Horsepower's extensive body of work. Denver native and seriously Christian "David Eugene Edwards" is the lead singer/songwriter, while the bass player and drummer are two dudes from France. September 14, 201412 yr Author Always enjoyed these folks: That is pretty cool, OlDog. I've never heard of them before. I like the old timey "claw hammer" style of banjo pickin, and who wouldn't like a guy who plays the jug and spoons at the same time? :thumb:

September 14, 201412 yr Author Awesome!!! The Oh Brother concert tour came to Lexington and it was fantastic. I sat right behind Mr Wildcat, Bill Keightly and his wife that night and enjoyed talking to him about as much as listening to all the perfomances. Great collection of performers.

If so I was there in the 10th row on the floor, and before the show began T-Bone Burnett was strutting around through the audience in his black suit and shades.

I especially enjoyed the Fairfield Four singing Po' Lazarus. Awesome.
