Well she's not going anywhere for two more years...she's still mine!!!! Quit trying to get rid of her so fast! However, I can see why some of you want her gone! :lol2:

Congrats to Shelby! Well deserved! One of the hardest workers I've ever been around!

Congrats to Shelby! Hard work pays off!

Another semi local player Kiley Sosby from whiteoak oh signed with BG . Former laser blue and ohio outlaw player .

We visited BGSU with Kiley and she and Shelby played together at 9u/10u for the Cincy Doom team. It will be fun watching them play together again.

Shelby is a year younger than Kiley. But thank you for the congratulations! BGSU will be a huge force in the MAC, for sure!

Congrats Shelby!!! My DD has 1 more year to face your Awesome Power at the plate, Please don't hurt her:isurrender:

Graybill verbally commits to Bowling Green:

Highlands junior standout Shelby Graybill recently verbally committed to Bowling Green State University (Ohio) of the Mid-American Conference.

The 5-foot-8-inch catcher and third baseman helped Highlands to its first 9th Region title last spring. The Ladybirds finished a school-record 27-13 including a 19-game winning streak. They went 1-2 in the state tournament. Graybill batted about .529 (55-for-104) with 52 runs batted in, 32 runs scored, 19 doubles, nine home runs, three strikeouts and 13 walks. She hit two home runs in the state tournament including a two-run blast to open the state tournament in a 4-1 against Estill County.

“They are looking for me to come in and start as a freshman to be in what they say is Murderer’s Row,” Graybill said. “That’s the three, four, five (hitters). I’m looking to be at least hitting my freshman year.”

Graybill wants to become a history teacher. Her favorite time period is Early American History. She said Bowling Green is one of the top schools in the country for teaching.

I'm surprised she was only walked 13 times!! It goes to show, the pitchers in No. K.Y. aren't too bright:sssh: My DD wouldn't walk her either:ohbrother:

HHS hitters did a nice job of protecting her. Quite a few hitters on that team. How many teams out there have 50 Rbis out of the six hole? Shelby is an awesome hitter but that doesn't help unless you have some protection. We are very proud of Shelby and the rest of the team stepping up. Congrats to Shelby, kid works extremely hard and has earned every bit that she had received.

We also played many out of state and down state teams...so it's not just NKY pitchers! And yes, the out of state teams knew her as well. Heck, one of them is coached by her hitting instructor!!

I bet.....hoping Heathers is over soon!

Heather Committed to University of Toldeo this past weekend. Now on to my son!

Congrats Webster . Toledo's # 1 is an old friend of my mine .
