To my knowledge there has been nothing in the paper (CJ) but yes they did hire a new coach. More info to come tomorrow or Thursday from the local paper.

That doesnt come out till late Wednesday/Thursday. Anyway coach was introduced to team/parents last night. Former Jessica Davis now Conner from Knox Central a few years back. 1999 Ky All Star and played ball at IUPUI. Worked at Butler University and other Indiana schools.

They still do not have a coach at South Middle yet- been a tough year for girls bball coaches in South Oldham. East Oldham started their practice today. Both are feeders for South with the majority of the current East 8th graders slated for South instead of Oldham. Been a while that it played out that way.

Most of the East 8th graders are going to South Oldham, but the twins are going to OC, and one may even start on the OC varsity.

East Oldham lost their best incoming 8th grader to Somerset area last name was Sharon, the twins play alot of soccer, they may play some JV, Varsity is a stretch

Twins no longer playing soccer. Concentrating on bball only. Check with your summer league contacts and see how much Varsity the twins played. And ask who started quite a few games

After looking at their roster they may actually play some so I stand corrected, Stewart, Werner, and Davis should start and then who knows, may be a tough year for the Colonels. How did East Oldham fair against Oldham's 8th grade team? I saw some 8th grade games last season but didnt see them play each other, saw Shelby East 8th grade and they were really good, along with Scott Middle and Elkhorn Middle

East 8th grade beat ocms 8th grade twice and OC won once. But 95% of the East points came from the Head twins and Sheron.

Unless Oldham has changed their policy they dont like middle schoolers being moved up until their middle school season is over which is silly. Sophia is a nice player, doesnt make any sense to not allow them to go with the high school in October. Is no one from OC Middle not good enough to play for varsity if they beat East Oldham with apparently the 3 best 7th graders?
