Miami Heat...how long until they are relevant again?

Featured Replies

I think what is more interesting is where will Wade end up? Clearly, he is no longer a franchise player.

Back in MIA for 20 mil or so and off into the sunset he goes....

Shabazz Napier, Norris Cole, Josh McRoberts, and Danny Granger....That's the Heat roster at present, right?

Justin Hamilton, as well.

At least Miami is familiar with the "tear down a champion to the skeleton and then build it back up" philosophy.

I wonder when the deadline was for season ticketholders to renew.

They may set some records for suckiness:

@WojYahooNBA: The Chicago Bulls are gauging interest with free agent Dwyane Wade, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

^Seriously. Who's going to be the go-to-guy in Miami? Granger? He can barely walk. They going to pay Deng or Ariza $15M to get them to come to that sideshow? They'll be lucky to crack double-digit wins if Wade bolts too.

If you're Wade, why wouldn't you go Chicago? He's gotta be ticked. Opting out early cost him $40M.

At first glance this may be the worst team ever assembled.
