July 12, 201412 yr Chris Bosh, Miami Heat finalizing new contract - ESPN All-Star center Chris Bosh has agreed to return to the Miami Heat on a five-year, $118 million contract, sources confirmed to ESPN. I think you may have missed the thread created on that one...:lol2:
July 12, 201412 yr Adrian Wojnarowski @WojYahooNBA · 3h Suns and Kings are finalizing a sign-and-trade deal on a four-year, $27M contract for Isaiah Thomas, league sources tell Yahoo Sports. Seriously- how many point guards can you have on one team? Suns must be setting up to trade with someone, no?

July 12, 201412 yr Vince Carter signs a 3yr $12million deal with the Grizz. Love Vinsanity, he was my favorite player after Penny Hardaway and before Lebron. BUT, with that said I don't understand the demand for him this offseason. Can't have much left.
July 12, 201412 yr Love Vinsanity, he was my favorite player after Penny Hardaway and before Lebron. BUT, with that said I don't understand the demand for him this offseason. Can't have much left. He had a nice season for the Mavs. The salary is right in line with what he can give the Grizz- off the bench you get a scoring threat for 15-20 mins. a night. 3 years is surprising, but I bet the Grizz have given themselves some options to release him within thus deal.

July 12, 201412 yr Carmelo Anthony, New York Knicks negotiating deal; Chicago Bulls out - ESPN New York It's about the money and that is fine but don't say it is about winning then do this
July 12, 201412 yr It's about the money and that is fine but don't say it is about winning then do this Exactly. No fault because that's a lot of money to leave on the table but don't say it's about winning. This year is going to be a waste and everyone knows it.
July 12, 201412 yr I'm not saying the Knicks are title contenders right now, but Anthony has been in the playoffs three of four seasons (and barely missed them this year) since he was traded to the Knicks. This team will have a ton of cap room for 2015 and, conceivably, 2016. Maybe Melo isn't as shortsighted as some and he likes the plans Phil has put in place to be a consistent contender over the life of a 5 year deal. No one wants to go to Chicago with Derrick Rose playing on two bad knees. The Lakers have Kobe off of two major leg injuries. Who is the sure winner he turned down? Maybe the Rockets, but I never understood why folks think Harden and Melo are a great fit- plus it's the West, which is much tougher to navigate even with a good team. Of course the money is huge, but the Knicks are in a better position than most realize. Phil upgraded point guard and the Knicks have some young talent (potential assets) with Hardaway Jr. and Shumpert. It is better in New York than some want to believe from a basketball on the court standpoint, IMO.
July 12, 201412 yr I don't like the Knicks, I don't like Melo...perfect match as far as I'm concerned.
July 12, 201412 yr @paugasol: It hasn't been easy. After meditating it a lot I've chosen to play with the Chicago Bulls. Looking forward to this new chapter of my career
July 12, 201412 yr @WojYahooNBA: With a 4-year, $32M agreement for free agent Trevor Ariza, Houston could still match offer sheet for Chandler Parsons, source tells Yahoo.
