November 6, 201411 yr I hate people who go through other people's things...and then to steal what they find!! I hate all of these people. Jeremy is still my guy though.

She was wrong to keep the trail mix to herself, IMO. I'm not mad at them for going through her bag, they went through all the bags.

November 6, 201411 yr She was wrong to keep the trail mix to herself, IMO. I'm not mad at them for going through her bag, they went through all the bags. Everybody else was there though. It's not like no one else was around when they went through each other's bags. Julie was the only one not around and they went through her bag. That's just as wrong as her 'stealing' the trail mix. Not to mention Julie said she was going to share the trail mix with people she liked. She never got that chance because they went through her stuff. I wish they'd have gone through my stuff when I wasn't around. The revenge I would have gotten would have caused fist fights.
November 6, 201411 yr Please. They all had a chance to keep some food to themselves from the feast. She was just the smart one to do so. Where is it written that you have to share your food. Outwit, outplay, outlast.
November 6, 201411 yr It also drives me nuts when people get mad at folks for playing the game. That's my Survivor pet peeve. Say Julie's plan was to intentionally steal the trail mix and keep it all for herself, that's playing the game. How can they get mad at her for playing the game? That makes no sense. Bunch of babies out there. Drives me nuts.

Outwit, outplay, outlast. I wouldn't call hoarding food, outwitting. I'd call it, giving everyone else a reason to vote you out. They only need the smallest of reason to put someone on the chopping block. And when it comes to food, with hungry people, that will get you up there quickly.

She was only one smart enough to put food away. I guess Dale is hoarding the idol? When it comes to immunity with desperate people why aren't they going through bags looking for the idol?

When it comes to immunity with desperate people why aren't they going through bags looking for the idol? The immunity idol isn't a community item, the trail mix was. I don't think its smart to keep food hidden from the group that potentially decides your fate. Smart for survival, not smart for a social game. I've honestly wondered why they haven't gone through people's bags. I'm not saying I would, but I'm surprised it doesn't happen.

The whole community has access to the idol just like they all had access to the trail mix. What if whoever went through her bag found the idol in there? Then what? She didn't make it a secret that she was stuffing the trail mix in the bag. She did it out in the open amongst everyone else. They are all being babies. She's not the first person to hide food either. They just went through her stuff and found it. Whathisface was hoarding coconuts and drinking them when no one was looking last season. They all just suck at playing the game.
November 6, 201411 yr Seems like it's always been an unwritten rule to not go through other people's things. I know some have done it in the past; I'm pretty sure that someone found another person's hidden idol once while doing it. I think it's sleazy and underhanded though.

At least I know now when I go to Survivor with MJ not to take a bag with me. :lol2:
November 6, 201411 yr At least I know now when I go to Survivor with MJ not to take a bag with me. :lol2: I'd have a secret pocket sewn into my bag haha! I think we could pull it off. Black guy, white guy, internet friends, meeting for the first time in person on Survivor. That has to sell lol
November 7, 201411 yr A question for all of you who are hating on Julie for hiding the food and defending the tools who rifled her bag, would they have done it had she been one of the "in" crowd? I was on Twitter Wednesday during the show and asked a former player if there were rules about going through people's belongings. She said there weren't but stealing is prohibited. A follow up I thought about after the fact was what is considered stealing? I can see personal property, but what if they had found an idol? If it was OK for them to take the food would it be OK to take an idol? If you can then I'm going through everyone's bags at some point. Final point I hate quitters. Rocker was a HORRIBLE choice for the show but when they took his whiney fake (boobs, tan, etc.) GF that bailed when it got tough I have to wonder who didn't get on the show. Final point, I'm once again having trouble finding someone that I can like in this cast. Of the remaining people I'm gravitation towards Keith and his son. I feel bad for Keith that he won immunity then didn't really need it.
