Qryche11
Close game until the 4th Q Thanks for the official word. I knew my 12 yr old giving me the 44-35 score couldnt be a final. How many did Vories get?
bbleser
Not sure what Vories had but he really wasn't a factor. Hudepohl had at least 4 big 3 Pointers though and Guidulghi had a huge last second steal and 3 point shot at the end of the 3rd Q.
oldcat94
Great game for the Birds, the Breds played good until they lost momentum. The officials had some really queationable calls tonight against the Birds, but we fought thru it and prevailed. Hudy was HUGE tonight, Ben got into the flow early as well. The shot Ben hit was a circus shot. The Birds have regrouped from a rough end of the season. They are poised for a run in the regionals. Jim Schue
How is it that with all the Highlands/NoKy people we have on here that this thread has not even 10 posts?
DMZ76
How is it that with all the Highlands/NoKy people we have on here that this thread has not even 10 posts? Maybe because the result was expected?? Or maybe since we have no football rivalry there IS no rivalry? The matchup just doesn't have the "flavor" it used to have.

The anticipation and build up for the game just isn't there. The game didn't even come close to a sell-out in the regular season. Maybe the game means more to the Hill than to HHS.... ICN hi-lites showed a pretty raucous and filled Bellevue gym....don't know if it was close to capacity though! I'm surprised you weren't there 'Crunch! Maybe the game means more to the Hill than to HHS.... The boys on "the hill" seem much less focused on a rivalry with HHS, than the old days. Maybe having girls in class has captured some of that focus:D
