I can name quite a few college stars, as well as NBA stars that have this "issue."

 

The fact is, there are not many 6'10 high school players with this kind of athleticism and skill.

 

The other fact is you cannot show me that many players (high school, college or NBA) who demonstrate what you are talking about.

 

I can show you hundreds of guys that never reached their highest level because their motor ran low.

 

Can guys with ELITE talent get away with it at times? Sure. It is far from the norm and an uphill battle for those that don't have the specific skill of playing hard as a natural part of their game.

 

You clearly have no idea how hard 90% of the guys in the NBA work every day to keep their job. If you want to portray Spaulding as a top 10% guy, we will agree to disagree and move on...

Ok. While I don't tell his business, I'll say he's always had a a favorite whether he chose for it to be public or not has been the issue. He obviously doesn't care any longer.
