It all really depends on the match ups.... Pool pay can be deceiving, once bracket play start, no telling what can happen.

I would be mad if I traveled from KY to Atlanta and my first pool game was against another KY team.

Looks like this could only happen with Manimal and Hoop Dreams.

He has a tendency of doing what? Driving 6 hours to play a team that is his next door neighbor? One would think that if he were that eager to play another local team, he could've made that effort much closer to home - like asking to be in the same pool at state a couple of weeks ago.....

 

I don't claim to know Coach Stallworth but you would have to assume that any coach, with an opportunity to play a number of very high caliber teams from all over, would prefer to take full advantage of that opportunity.

Saw where TBC 16's were up by 2 on Team Penny at half. That's huge. Hope they can hold on.

 

Also saw where Hoop Dreams 16's were up 29-20 at half then 57-33 late in the game on Manimal. Don't think that was the final score.

TBC ended up losing 65-55. Saw where 1 of their other pool games is against King James. I think it's fair to say they got a tough draw....

LOL! I would think not.

Malik Dow, Will Hager and Cameron Jones led us but it was an all around team effort. Everyone played their roles well. Jared Farris helps cover up our rebounding deficiencies and is a nice addition.

 

Our 17u-Black team won by 39 tonight also. Isaiah Collier and Justin Miller shined in a big win.

Yes, they are loaded. They would fare well in the 17U division, even in this tournament.
