I hope so. He really knows his basketball, and he is a good person too. I'd love to see him and his dad on the bench for the Tigers next year. I think that would be a really good staff. I watched him play 2 games last year at the CFIT, and he did a really good job coaching. He almost beat Corbin at Corbinm who then went on and won the 13th and made it to the quarterfinals of the Sweet 16. He didn't even have that much talent outside of Marshall. If he doesn't end up at Clay County I wish him the best of luck at whatever he does.

Hasty decisions don't always work out for the best. Since becoming principal at Fleming the discipline problems have decreased creating a better learning environment for the students. I have heard several comments from teachers, staff, and students throughout the community on the positive effects Messer has had since becoming principal. However, the word on the street is that things haven't been as calm this week within the walls of the newly renovated school. :confused:

It makes no sense as to why they would push out the only student respected disciplinarian in the school.

 

For every action there is an equal an opposite reaction... I hope FCHS is ready to reap what they sowed. I predict difficulties with student behaviors will be at an all-time high.

From what I have read, it sure sounds like they have the student's best interest in mind. It sounds like they have everything under control before testing time. :fire: The administration better hope that test scores aren't affected and with students anymore you can never tell what they may do!

Seriously?? If that is true the adminastration messed up in not tryin to talk him out of resigning. Does his resignation of assistant principal end at the end of the year or was it effectice immediately?

From what I heard there was a student who had a sign supporting Coach Messer in his or her vehicle. I heard the student was made to take the sign down.

 

Now.. that isn't cool.

Sounds like the administration at Fleming have some serious personal issues. They need to call Dr. Phil to help with self analysis and personal reflection! Now...............that would be way cool.:banana: :creepy: Then maybe they would learn to stand up for what is right.

OK SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT THIS ALTERCATION WAS???? I went to school with Todd at Clay Co, hes a good guy and a heck of a basketball coach. All I can say is Fleming County's loss and hopefully Clay Countys gain...

Yes seriously. The student had a 4x8 sheet of plywood and stayed in the parking lot until he was made to leave or be arrested. He also had multiple other signs in support of Messer. Messer was the only discilpinarian in that school and there have been multiple fights this week.
