Fieger did pitch, but nobody is mentioning the 6 or 7 errors that BW had. Only 3 official errors in the book, but a horrible defensive game by BW.

 

I don't think any questioned his performance. About the 6 or 7 errors, unfortunately, it's part of the game if you are a pitcher.

Combs pitched 5 2/3, Rundle pitched a 1/3, and Miller pitched an inning (5 walks and three runs scored in the 7th inning) in a 4-1 loss to Tates Creek on Friday night.

 

Miller did not pitch all weekend.

He pitched 6 innings on Wednesday night.

Suchanek is Beechwood's #1. D1 signee to Xavier.

It's all about who pitched. And as I have said in other posts, one game in baseball means less than one game in other sports. Almost anyone can beat someone else in baseball.

Not arguing your point, but from looking at the threads it seems as though Beechwood has hit a rough patch at this point of the season. Pitching is one thing, but it seems as though their bats have gone silent as well. Wish nothing but the best for Beechwood, just hope they get it turned around before its too late.
