Caldwell County grad D. G. Sherrill wins another for Bowling Green. Congrats to the Purples! Great guy and a good friend while I was growing up.

Congrats BG. With the game touch and go at the beginning of the 4th, they took it from Central. Got to the rim, got to the line, and I honestly believe they were more mentally strong.

 

This one hurts as much as any I can remember. Maybe the 2009 loss to Russell County in region. It's just going to take some time to get over Central sweeping the regular season and then losing the money games.

Let's just say I'm not thrilled with some of the comments Sherill made post-game. You beat this team just last week, don't play the "nobody thought we would win" card. Preseason and end of the year, yes most had WC winning. But anyone paying attention the last week or two saw that BG was playing on another level than they have a year.

 

Congrats to the Purples and Purple fans. This team is sizzling right now, absolutely sizzling.
