There was another lineman that played early in season but got injured and was out most of the season. He was a transfer from St. X . don't remember his name but I think he played defensive tackle. Anybody remember?

It's one of the Drew boys ( first name ) I mentioned. Just not sure which of the 3. I think the Saint X Drew has more of a LB body than an O-D line.

Totally agree that Andy Thompson needs to be on the field in some sort of capacity. The young man is super quick and hard to tackle. Maybe at receiver or even maybe at running back. Imagine him and Reese on the field at the same time with him lined up at running back.

I personally wonder what they do with Andy Thompson. On the JV level he looked like Johnny Football at QB. Question to me is whether he is too valuable as the backup QB or do you put him out on the field at maybe that H spot? I lean towards playing him because he is just so talented.

A lot of speed and quickness on that Thompson kid. LC might keep him at kick returner, slot reciever or like you said at H.

Thanks. I remembered that he played/started first of season but I couldn't remember his name or position.

The Juniors to be seem to have a lot of talent. Anyone know when Spring Practice begins?

That junior and senior to be class will be outstanding in the next few years. Not to mentioned that sophomore to be class, they have a handful of athletes from what I observed. Really excited to see them together during Spring Ball 4-14 to 5-2.

I think its another good schedule for the Knights this season. Not as tough as some of the ones that the program has seen, but strong nonetheless.

I do think there was a mistake with the posting of the day for the Bluegrass Bowl. It has always been on a Saturday but I went with what the website said.

I see the final record being between 8-2 and 10-0. Should be a great 1st season for Coach Perry!

Bowling Green is one of the best programs in the state but combined with all the lost talent, being very early in the season, and a home game I think the Knights can pull it off and end the winning streak.

Boyle will be the usual war. Hopefully the Knights can defend home field.

I think there would be a conflict with UK schedule on Aug. 30th for the Bluegrass Bowl. Might be reason for the 29th date.

Hey Knight, do you have any idea on who they are scrimmage prior to the start of the season? Also did you watch their 1st spring practice? If so how did they look? I know it's early and its the first practice and a lot of their players are playing baseball and/ or lacross.

That would make a lot of sense. The bowl is usually held the week before the college starts up if I remember correctly but I guess not this year.

No idea on the scrimmage. Only know what has been posted on the website in terms of the schedule.

Didn't get to watch the 1st spring practice personally but from what I heard Jaylen Jones looked very good in returning from injury.

The Knights will reciprocate the scrimmage from last year with Ballard on 8/15 at Ballard.

Blugrass Bowl moved to Friday to avoid conflicts with the UK home opener.

Good luck to Coach Perry in his first season at LCHS.
