KHSAA Stats Week of 2/27/14

Featured Replies

I would like to give a triple S/O to Carson Williams of Owen County. I watched him play last season against KCC and he did a remarkable job. He plays hard and plays clean, just the way I like to see kids perform. WOOOOOOOOHHHHHHH! Carson!

Debates about stats are always funny. Most of them are bloated. Especially when it comes to rebounding and FG%. Over half the schools, and generally the better ones, don't report stats.

IMO they're no better because they don't report their stats. To me it appears that the coach either wishes to keep his numbers confidential and/or feels that he won't have to handle anybody who questions why he's not playing so-and-so (because the player's numbers make it questionable as to why he isn't).

I will always feel that it is the easy way out and not professional. Provide your numbers for the whole world to see. If you are indeed a great coach you should be able to handle the repercussions of doing so.

So where's he been Haydn? :)

I think it would be extremely cool if there were players in the state with the last names Beethoven and Brahms. Then Bach could share the spotlight a little bit.

Some may call his game symphonic in nature. :)

He has all the right keys to successful. Heard he is pretty sharp in school, too. Needs to keep working so that his shot does not go flat. That could give him some treble.

Q. How many rebounds did Justin Johnson have?

A. All of them

Somebody at Augusta was sleeping last week and forgot to dial in the stats!

No time to call in stats,,,they were preparing to play basketball.............................
