Boyle did nor bewak a contract! BG did!

 

Technically they didn't break the contract. They honored the buyout part of it.

 

Again, I stated publicly it doesn't look good that BG did that. Just as I said with Boyle. I'm not sure what you are looking for.

Some of you need to step back a little. I'm a former player and alum of the school but like Purple, remember when it was announced in December that Boyle would not sign a deal with HHS.

 

Whether a contract or not, Boyle stepped back from playing HHS for a lesser team at the moment. Same thing happened in the early 90's when Boyle stopped playing Lincoln County because the Patriots were at their apex of program performance and Boyle was rebuilding.

 

It is what it is. No need to be hostile over it.

 

No one is getting hostile over it, but my point is Boyle did what they did because of financial reasons not because they were afraid of Highlands now they may have been wrong for not letting Highlands know in a timely fashion I won't argue that point, but once again the series ended for reasons other than they were afraid of mighty Highlands. Boyle either lost money or broke even on the trip to Highlands the charter buses really hurt financially, and they wanted to start their own bowl the next year, there are other reasons for ending a series than being afraid to play someone.
