February 25, 201412 yr Author ...... 8th grade, I assume? Middle teams were 7th grade squads, and I don't know if any other teams in the tourney are 7th grade. Was told that Blessed Sacrament 8th was a #2 seed and declined the invitation. BTW, thanks for the reminder.

Instead of moving the other teams up a slot, they gave the 3 seed on the Campbell County side the bye?

February 25, 201412 yr Author 1st time this year seeing Holy Trinity......WOW! It was 10-0 before the 1st 30 seconds went off the clock, four consecutive steals on the inbounds for buckets. This team is fast and passes the ball like a high school team, finding the cutters, no look passes in traffic, and finding the open man on picks. Granted, St. Augustine was outmanned, the Patriots play like a well oiled machine. NewCath getting 6 or 7 quality hoopsters next year from this squad. The Gonzalez kid from St. Augustine scored 15 of their 19 pts., including a "baseball" heave that had "ZERO" arc from about 70 feet at the halftime buzzer, that was "nothing but net". :ylsuper: I know, I got nothing better to do than update grade school games. :lol2:
February 26, 201412 yr Looks like I had an old version of the schedule, but I know the schedule has changed from even the one Lawnboy posted. Any updates from last night?
February 26, 201412 yr My boys are all much older now, but I was wondering if Holy Family School still has a team or did they join up with another school? I remember my sons playing in their gym years ago.
