Did they score the points or not? Good Lord. Were they eligible when they scored them? I agree with the haters comment.

Without kids like Jones, Hundley, Gilbert, etc., they probably also don't have all the Sweet 16s or State Titles either though. No two ways about that.

Guess the Courier didn't have that detailed info.

Gilbert is just a few points away from breaking the record held for most points scored at Scott County

I believe Perselys points were all from Georgetown also......

 

I know at least his senior year he was at Scott Co. (1985, I think) because they beat my school in the region that year. Not sure when they merged, but it wasn't long before that.

I think there is a difference between "school record" and "individual record". Now, the kids still score the career points, but it would be misleading to say someone is the career leading scorer for School A if he scored half those points for School B.
