Mayfieldsportsfan Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 The Murray Tigers have selected their new coach. It is Keith Hodge from Dresden High school out of TN. Hodge went 18-6 and made the TN state playoffs for the 2 seasons he was at Dresden.
OLDSKOOLPLAYMAKR Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 Wonder on why he decided to move to Northern KY......family?
bugatti Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 Wonder on why he decided to move to Northern KY......family? You mean Western Kentucky? Dresden is not far from Murray.
Harry Doyle Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 Wonder on why he decided to move to Northern KY......family? Yeah, Dresden is just down the road from Murray...not far at all.
OLDSKOOLPLAYMAKR Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 my fault, don't know what I was thinking. LOL mind on another neck of the woods I guess
snakesnot_2000 Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 Never heard of Dresden being much in football. He must have some experience in the spread offense cause they have been using Woody Hayes old playbook.
Toothpick Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 under his direction I believe they went from home coming material to ranked. I think he was the OC there prior
Harry Doyle Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 Never heard of Dresden being much in football. He must have some experience in the spread offense cause they have been using Woody Hayes old playbook. That Woody Hayes play book took down the chuck and duck in November when conditions were a little bit different than 90 and sunny out. But I agree, I think Murray was looking to go more "modern"..that first comment was directed towards those in Murray who weren't happy with all those Region Final and Semi appearances the last 6 years. I love em both for the record for the record. All of it wins.
Harry Doyle Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 Never heard of Dresden being much in football. He must have some experience in the spread offense cause they have been using Woody Hayes old playbook. I think he had a little bit of success at Dresden if I read correctly. 16-8 over two years. Something like that.
DreamKiller Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 They should get 2 more shots at "ol' chuck and duck" this year, and they may not want those chances.
Harry Doyle Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 That they will. Caldwell is a Top 10 overall IMO next year.
