Hazard 82 JBS 70

How much would you contribute loosing a 6'9" center and having to replace him to this loss ? Collins would have made a difference. You just seem to overlook every thing except playing Riverside.

I agree a 6'9" kid makes a difference. His strength seemed to be defense and his ability to change shots. Will he back at JBS next year

There is a lot more to the story than you know and I agree attacking a kid is wrong. But commenting on stats being inflated is directed more at his coaches and not the kid.

Maybe so, but the problem is the child reads this forum as well.

I've posted before that JBS losing Collins will be a factor, but JBS supporters have indicated that JBS has a very deep bench and very competent replacements. Guess my decoder weren't working right.

Now now, I've don't think that I've singled out Riverside. Heck, Riverside ain't even the worst team on JBS schedule. I think that lots of people do over-value JBS' inflated numbers and stastics THAT ARE BASED IN LARGE PART ON PLAYING VERY WEAK TEAMS. I have said that I think that playing such a cupcake schedule does not make a team better. That old cliche "You are what you eat" comes to mind.....

Hazard may get by perry in the district this year

GREAT AVATAR

Congrats Hazard. It looks like they are playing team ball. I hope that this continues both offensively and defensively in the district.

I agree that it is wrong to bash any player on these boards. Everyone has opinions but could display them with some tact. Most players that I know do read these boards but luckly they know that peoples opinions of them do mean much.

Wow looks like Hazard played team ball. Several players scoring in double digits. Hazard has a great team this year. I bet the matchup against PCC will be an exciting one. Good luck to the Bulldogs.

No one should really go out of their way to bash a player.... but again I think there is a difference between saying the coaches are padding the stats, which to some it may legitamately appear to be happening, and "bashing" a player. People on these threads keep wanting to accuse others of bashing a player when in fact those "others" are criticizing the coaches. No one is above criticism... and people should feel free to critique the coaches if they want. Not to be overly mean or anything, if the kids happen to read this... hopefully there isn't anything mean spirited written about the kids... but high school is nothing compared to what you'll hear in college... just ask Saul Smith.

That's my opinion and it's worth about as much as anyone elses on here... very little ... :D:D:D:D:D:D

Thank you, Buck Master, for trying to inject some civility into this thread. It's heartbreaking to think that this boy might be reading some of the vitriolic venom that's spewed out on him and his family by some of these supposed grownups who unabashedly claim their hatred for them. It must be terrible to hate others so much. Makes you wonder if they can like themselves.

This thread is about Hazard and JBS and the game so I will start another thread to debate the program at JBS.

You seem to have a hatred for JBS. Are you mad because you were not selected homecoming queen at JBS?
