Closer than I thought it would be.

^ Same here, even though Collins beat them earlier in the year by just 2.

One word, rivalry.

One word, rivalry.

Exactly. What makes it worse is Shelby County has never beaten Collins in boy's basketball, so that puts a lot of pressure on the Titans not to be the first team to lose to their crosstown rivals. That pressure obviously doesn't bother Ralphie Stone, who stepped up big time and hit 3 free throws with 1 second left to win the game.

Shelby County is getting better, and we should see them in New Castle in March for the first time since the split.

Not surprised by this score at all, rivalry or no. Shelby is a vastly improved team who has a deceptive record due to an absolutely brutal schedule. They opened the season 0-8, but have gone 9-5 since then. Coach Couch is doing a good job with the Rockets.

It was only a matter of time for Couch and the Rockets. He is doing a great job with a young team. Keep an eye on them. They will be a dangerous team come playoff time
