Not religion, at least not to my knowledge.

This was interesting. Basically argues that Caremark/CVS is shifting toward providing primary care at "urgent care" type clinics. “We are retooling ourselves as a company,” Brennan [Chief MD at CVS] said. “How can you continue to sell tobacco when you are part of the health care system?”

 

You mean the "Minute Clinics". I got my flu shot at the one in the CVS near my home. I'm using them more an more for stuff I used to go to my primary care for. Great idea, if you ask me.

 

I can ride my bike or walk up to CVS. Walgreens an Walmart are out of the way. I use mail scripts for out maintenance drugs. For as little as I use a drug store, the cost differencial is more than made up by the exercise benefits and gas savings of using my local CVS over any other apothecary.

I'm going on 5 months smoke free and am glad to see CVS making this move.

They can sell what they want...and for those comparing candy and drinks to cigs as being "bad" and will they stop selling those as well...sorry, apples and oranges to me.
